Andhra Pradesh Will Soon Get A Formula 3 Racing Track

The motor racing circuit at Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh, the Buddh International Circuit is the only Formula One (F1) circuit located in India. Now, a new 3.4 kilometres Formula Three (F3) racing track is coming up at Kotapalli of Tankallu Mandal in Andhra Pradesh. Bengaluru-based Nidhi Marque One Motors has developed the track over a sweeping 219-acre area. The upcoming F3 track will restrict the speed of cars to 250 kmph. But the track will have straights and high-speed corner trappings along with elevations up to 40 metres. The authorities are also planning to set up an amusement park in the second phase of the project. India will also get its first sea-pool at Vizag, Andhra Pradesh.

A Formula Three Racing Track, Along With A Resort To Come Up In Andhra Pradesh

A Formula Three racing track will soon come up in the Anantapur district of Andhra Pradesh, at Kotapalli of Tankallu Mandal. According to The Hindu report, the track will be similar to Greater Noida’s Buddh International Circuit and the track at Irungattukottai. Also, a resort will come up along with the F3 track. In the second phase of the project, the authorities are planning to set up an amusement park too. The track will restrict the speed of cars by 250 kmph. Also, the project aims to give employment opportunities to nearly 150 to 200 people from the district.

B. Eswariah, Regional Director of tourism has told The Hindu, “With its proximity to the Bengaluru airport and a number of motorsport enthusiasts in the metropolis, the ₹100-crore resort, planned with a wellness centre and a golf course on 50 acres, is bound to bring a large number of tourists.” Also, Kakinada in Andhra Pradesh gives back garbage to households dirtying roads.

Approval For The Rayalaseema Heritage Circuit

The Tourism Department has already asked for the approval of the Central government for the Rayalaseema Heritage Circuit by submitting a proposal. The heritage circuit will run through Anantapur, Kurnool and Kadapa districts. It will cover tourist spots like Belum Caves, Gandikota fort, Penukonda fort, Gooty fort, Lepakshi temple, Tadipatri temple, Kadapa canyon and more.
