Ankush Bahuguna Feels Having An Elder Sister Is Like Having 3 Parents!

On our latest episode of Tere Gully Mein, we met with Ankush Bahuguna, one of India’s most popular content creators on Instagram. While his journey began with funny content, he eventually ventured into makeup and skincare as well, a bold move, considering that men in makeup are still not very common in India. In this episode, we explored his childhood neighbourhood in Mayur Vihar and visited all his favourite street food spots. Ankush Bahuguna Has An Elder Sister

During this food trail in Mayur Vihar, our first stop was Hathras Sweets, where we tried some delicious samosas and also discovered Ankush Bahuguna’s extremely low spice tolerance. He shared that he only enjoys his samosas with the sweet red chutney, completely skipping the green one. In fact, if he finds the filling too spicy, he just enjoys the outer covering!

While indulging in the piping hot samosa, we also got into a candid conversation about his family. He mentioned that as a kid, he wasn’t naughty at all. In fact, he was an extremely sincere child who never got into any kind of mischief. We were curious to know if he has any siblings, and he revealed that he has an elder sister.

Whether you have an elder or younger sibling, it can shape your childhood in different ways, and for Ankush, having an elder sister felt like having not two, but three parents! He shared that everyone around him was always so protective and attentive, and perhaps that’s why he turned out to be such a sincere kid. Looks like he simply didn’t get the chance to be mischievous.

Shedding more light on his sincere childhood, Ankush Bahuguna revealed that he was such an introverted kid that he never even saw his classmates outside of school, not once without their uniforms! But everything changed when he went to college. He finally opened up and let loose a little. He participated in mass bunks, watched loads of movies with friends, and embraced college life. Ankush explained that the shift likely happened because his college was far from home, his projects often involved overnight work with classmates, and also because he was studying architecture, where he met a lot of open-minded people.

Later in the episode, Ankush Bahuguna opened up about his journey into makeup content and how he handles online criticism. To learn more, watch the full episode on the Curly Tales YouTube channel.
