Art Mumbai 2023: Here’s What’s On The Itinerary

Art Mumbai is the first art fair happening at the Mahalaxmi Racecourse in Mumbai. It starts on November 17, Friday and ends on November 19, Sunday. If walking in a crowd of people and taking in art sounds like your perfect weekend, Art Mumbai is here to give it to you. You can book the tickets on Insider, which begin at ₹599. The event is in partnership with Kiran Nadar Museum of Art.
The event will host three speaker series on the first day. One will be on “Women to Watch” which discusses championing women in Art. The other will be “Making of a Museum” which will showcase how the Kiran Nadar Museum of Art became a reality solely through passion. Another speaker series will be on ‘Navigating the Laws Of Art’ which discusses art laws, estate planning and more.
On the second day, Karan Johar, who is also the culture ambassador for Art Mumbai, will converse with Dinesh Vazirani about all things art, culture, cinema, and much more! A VIP-only Bombay Heritage Photowalk is also in store for those who want to re-explore this dreamy city with a fresh set of eyes and perspective! There will also be a film screening so we hope you get popcorn!

Over 50 art galleries will be showcasing their art so you better put on some comfortable shoes before you head to the fair. In addition to the above-mentioned activities, there will also be a number of book launches. On the last day of the art fair, there will also be a stand-up comedy show by Bunshah, because art shouldn’t always be serious! It should be fun and lighthearted!
On the first day, two book launches will take place. One will be a Fantasy Collection by the SaffronArt Foundation and the other will be “Jogen Chowdhury: Shadow Lines – Tracing The Journey.” The book is an exploration of Jogen Chowdhury’s journey as an artist.
