And Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu has given you one more stunning reason to visit the North East — Yameng Waterfall.

Arunachal Chief Minister Pema Khandu shared a stunning video of the state’s Yameng Waterfall on Twitter. In his caption, Khandu informed Netizens that they can visit the waterfall while travelling from Tawang to Mago. He promised that the verdant greenery, and captivating charm of the region will enthral visitors beyond their imagination.

The video gives Netizens a glimpse of the magnificent waterfall cascading from high mountain peaks. Surrounded by lush greenery and clear blue skies, Yameng waterfall is truly a sight to behold. It’s A Holy Waterfall With Healing Properties

Yameng waterfall is part of the popular Chumi Gyatse Falls or Holy Waterfalls. This is a collection of 108 waterfalls. Locals believe that the waterfalls were created when Guru Padmasambhava flung his rudraksha rosary against rocks and 108 streams gushed down. Pilgrims often visit this waterbody and fill bottles with holy water. They believe that the water has healing properties.
