Phuket in Thailand recently enabled an all-new visa extension system that allows travellers to apply for a visa extension online. Foreign visitors can now simply take the help of this recent extension system. This innovative online extension process is expected to not only ease the entire method of visa extension in different categories but also be a huge help for travel enthusiasts.

Pol Lt Gen Itthiphon Itthisanronnachai, the Immigration Bureau Commissioner, announced some important information about the foreigners living in Phuket. People from international nations who are currently living in Phuket under any of the 12 visa categories can start applying for visa extensions online, announced Pol Lt Gen Itthiphon Itthisanronnachai, according to a report by The Times of India.

The Immigration Bureau Commissioner has some specific goals to make the operations of the Immigration Bureau easier and more convenient than before. The introduction of the online visa extension system is a significant measure to simplify the steps and provide easy, enhanced, and efficient experiences for visitors, especially during the ongoing peak holiday week.

How Will The E-Extension System Help Tourists?

The new online visa extension system is here to make the extension process less complex and easily accessible for foreign travellers. International tourists can simply submit the required official documents online for visa extension. They can also schedule appointments in this simple extension process. The recently introduced system is only operating in Bangkok’s Immigration Bureau 1 and immigration offices in Chiang Mai, Chonburi, and Phuket. More details about the process will be announced on the Phuket Immigration website later.
