SeaWorld is one of the much-awaited indoor experiential areas, which held a star-studded opening event on May 22. This is the region’s first marine life theme park and it’s now open! Talking about the opening celebration, it was attended by guests and celebrities and the highlight was certainly an orchestra of 120 musicians that left the attendees in awe. As such, the newest theme park on Yas Island is spread across five indoor levels over 1,83,000 square metres. And it features eight mesmerising realms that offer guests an insight into the vast marine life. As it happens, each realm at the theme park has been intricately designed to transport guests into different environments across the globe. So, here’s a glimpse into the eight realms of the SeaWorld.
8 Realms Of The SeaWorld
1. One Ocean
One Ocean is basically the central hub of the park, which showcases portals to other realms and even the Animal Care Centre. Offering a spectacular 360° media experience, this immersive Centre features a circular screen that’s 218 metres wide and 15 metres tall. You can catch immersive story-telling that’s narrated on this massive screen! As it happens, the Animal Care Centre here is definitely not to be missed.
2. Abu Dhabi Ocean
Abu Dhabi Ocean is where you get wonderful insights into the marine ecosystem of the Arabian Gulf. Offering a rich history of the Bedouin families who partook in the pearl trade, the Abu Dhabi Ocean is a legacy of heritage, habitat, and heart. The highlights of this realm include Pearl Diving Shows, Touch Pools, and Abu Dhabi Souq. As such, there are four Touch Pools where guests can engage with sharks, invertebrates, and rays.

3. Rocky Point
Rocky Point is a realm where you get to witness a beautiful hidden cove that’s set in the Pacific Northwest of the USA. From sea lions resting on rocks and enjoying their time in the water to feeding them, this area is certainly fascinating. As such, an above and underwater habitat has been created to provide the animals with an enriching environment where they can thrive, just as they would in the choppy waters of the Pacific Northwest.
4. Microocean
Microocean is a colourful zone that features plenty of interactive areas, offering education and inspiration to guests. According to a report by Khaleej Times, it is a massive playground of rides! On the official website of SeaWorld, it is defined as a place that offers everything from Games & Adventures to Rides, Experiments, and even Entertainment for visitors. The highlights here include Four Rides, Play Areas, and Live Entertainment.

5. Tropical Ocean
Tropical Ocean, just as the name suggests is a realm where you’ll find dolphins and lush green forest. Offering a glimpse of the topics, this area features a crystal clear lagoon, glittering waterfalls, and incredible marine life. From Dolphin Presentations and the Rainforest to a Thrilling Rollercoaster, this realm should not be missed. In fact, in a report by Khaleej Times, it was also mentioned that there is a Flamingo Point where you can catch sight of these boisterous birds.
6. Arctic
This realm will give you a glimpse of the polar ocean. Home to diverse animals, like walruses and puffins, the Arctic has an environment of its own. In this realm, you can get to climb aboard a unique Research Vessel or even ride the Immersive Hypershare 360° that will give you a glimpse of the Walrus Habitat. While you’re at it, don’t forget to shop for some souvenirs from the Arctic Trading Post.

7. Antarctica
Antarctica, as the name suggests is the opposite of the Arctic Pole. This realm has an air temperature of 1°C and water temperature of 7°C, which provides an ideal environment for sub-Antarctic and Antarctic penguins. Here you can experience Penguin Habitat, Penguin Play, and Delicious Dining. From Interactive Experiences & Rides to Live Characters & Performances, there are many things to do in this realm. 8. Endless Ocean
If you wish to witness the endless beauty of the vast ocean, this realm is just the perfect place. It is home to the largest multi-species marine life aquarium and features over 68,000 animals. Besides the unique aquarium, you also have a chance to discover seven other habitats, where you can explore the diversity of the ocean from different perspectives. Did you know it holds a massive 25 million litres of water? The highlights of this realm include Eight Habitats, the Swirl, and the Standing Observation Areas.
