Assam CM Himanta Biswa Shares Video Of BSF Jawan Roasting Papad On Hot Sand In Bikaner In 47°C Temperature

The Border Security Force (BSF) soldiers stationed at the India-Pakistan border in Bikaner display amazing resilience and ingenuity. It is so no easy feat to bear the scorching temperature of 47°C in the desert while keeping our borders safe. In a video posted by Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, a BSF jawan was seen roasting papad on hot sand in the desert of Bikaner, Rajasthan amid a scorching 47°C temperature.

BSF Jawan Roasts Papad On Hot Sand In Bikanar’s 47°C Heat

The BSF officer is seen taking a kachha papad and placing it on the hot sand. He covers it with sand and waits patiently for the papad to cook in the scorching 47°C temperature of the desert near Khajuwala. The soldier took on this unique experiment to illustrate the intense heat waves plaguing the region. After a couple of minutes, he removes the top layer of sand to unravel a fully cooked papad.

To prove how well-cooked the condiment is, he breaks it into little pieces and throws it away. You can hear the unmissable crackle, proving the intense heat wave of Bikaner and the sand has successfully cooked the papad. And it’s good to be eaten. Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma mentioned in his caption that the video from Rajasthan filled him with immense respect and gratitude for India’s jawans who keep us Indians safe in such extraordinary conditions.
