Woman Slams Indians In Melbourne For Dumping Waste In Water
Big shoutout to the Indian community in Mernda, Melbourne.
You are filthy pigs.
Shame on you for dumping all of your rubbish into our waterways after your Indian Festival last Saturday.
You would want to get down there ASAP & collect all of your trash otherwise I will happily… pic.twitter.com/9DQCeU1KgX

X user Lozzy B (@TruthFairy131) has sparked an online debate by slamming members of the Indian community in Melbourne for throwing trash in the water after some festivities. In the video that has amassed over 7.4 million views, you can see two men collecting waste and dumping it in what seems like a water body.
Criticising the residents in Mernda, she called them “filthy pigs,” and wrote in the post, “Big shoutout to the Indian community in Mernda, Melbourne. You are filthy pigs. Shame on you for dumping all of your rubbish into our waterways after your Indian Festival last Saturday. You would want to get down there ASAP & collect all of your trash; otherwise, I will happily identify you & you will be marched down there to clean it up.”
Visibly frustrated, the woman went on to rant about how many people are working to protect their native wildlife and careless behaviour like this simply ruins their efforts. She then went on to say, “Aussie waterways are not a dumping ground for your rubbish. We will not tolerate you disrespecting our land & country.”

Netizens Share Their Two Cents On The Post
Thousands of people commented on the post of the Australian woman who called out Indian men for throwing waste into a water body in Melbourne. Her post has sparked a massive debate online. While some accused her of stereotyping and generalising Indians, others argued that it’s time to hold individuals accountable for such irresponsible behaviour. Responding to some comments on the post, the woman said she is not calling out all Indians but people who don’t “respect the land and country they are visiting or living in.”
Another one commented, “It’s a real shame when a few folks act like that and tarnish the name of a whole group. We all have a part to play in keeping things clean, no matter where we come from.”
“You are absolutely right. As an Indian, I am sick of the lack of civic sense in my fellow countrymen,” another Indian in the comments section responded.
“Polluting the environment is a crime. We should follow the local rules and laws. There should be a heavy fine,” someone commented.
One of the comments in the post read, “As an Indian, I strongly condemn this behaviour and believe those two individuals should be held accountable. That said, it’s unfair to paint the entire community with one brush. Most Indians who come here are not like this & many of us in fact participate in clean up Australia.”
