In the middle of all these emotions, imagine meeting the main man behind the scenes and one of the greatest cricketers of all time – Rahul Dravid! Well, author Ashwin Sanghi was lucky to catch up with the former head coach of the Indian Men’s team, Rahul Dravid, and here’s how it went down.

Author Ashwin Sanghi was on a flight to Bengaluru from Mumbai on July 5. It would have been a normal flight for him had he not had the pleasure of meeting the man of the hour, Rahul Dravid! The former head coach of the Indian men’s cricket team was returning home after a celebratory parade in Mumbai and meeting PM Narendra Modi.

Rahul Dravid was seated next to Ashwin Sanghi on the flight and indulged in a good chat with the author. They also spoke about cricketer Ravichandran Ashwin’s book during their brief encounter. Ashwin Sanghi took to X (formerly Twitter) to share a selfie with the great former cricketer. In his post, he called Rahul Dravid “a wonderful person.” He then went on to praise the cricketer and said that he “symbolises perseverance, patience, positivity, and practice.”
