Available For ₹3,500, India Now Has Copenhagen Sparkling Tea, A Non-Alcoholic Alternative To Champagne!

Imagine sipping on something so luxurious that you don’t miss the elegance of champagne, the complexity of fine wine, or the calming effects of tea. Copenhagen Sparkling Tea combines all of that into one beautiful experience. Thanks to BebidaHospitality Pvt. Ltd., it officially launched in India on May 1, 2025. This premium non-alcoholic beverage is here to change how India celebrates, dines, and indulges.

When you think of sparkling tea, you may compare it to iced tea or a tea-based cocktail. But Copenhagen Sparkling Tea is much more refined. It is a carefully brewed carbonated drink crafted from 13 varieties of organic tea leaves, like white, green, oolong, black, and herbal. The tea is then blended meticulously and turned into a non-alcoholic beverage but with the complexity, mouthfeel, and finish of a champagne.

Sounds too good to be true, right? But this sparkling tea is not just tea with bubbles. It is a new drinking experience that is elegant and perfect for celebrations. Developed in Denmark by award-winning sommelier Jacob Kokemba and entrepreneur Bo Sten Hansen, it is a revolutionary drink celebrated in luxury hospitality and served at over 80 Michelin-starred restaurants around the world.

Copenhagen Sparkling Tea is special, crafted from up to 13 types of carefully selected teas, which form the base for each blend. Slowly, it is brewed to extract flavour complexity. Next, using CO₂ infusion, it receives a gentle effervescence, often found in sparkling wines, and that’s it – just tea, natural botanicals, and no artificial additives. Whether you enjoy it as an aperitif, on its own, or paired with food, it is really versatile and now available in India.

A Perfect Variant For Every Occasion

Currently, in India, you can get three variants of Copenhagen Sparkling Tea. These three award-winning blends offer their own character.

  • LYSERØD is a rosé-style sparkling tea with delicate notes of hibiscus and red berries. It has a tartness with a blush pink hue, perfect to pair with your brunch.
  • LYSEGRØN, on the other hand, is the closest alternative to a non-alcoholic champagne. It is crisp and citrussy, featuring green teas, citrus teas, and white teas.
  • Made with jasmine, chamomile, and Darjeeling first flush, BLÅ is a soft and complex drink, best enjoyed with dinner.

The sparkling tea has already made its way into India’s top hotels and restaurants like Taj Mahal Palace, JW Marriott, Masque, The Oberoi, Papa’s, and more in Mumbai; Taj Mahal, The Oberoi, JW Marriott AeroCity, and The Leela in Delhi and several other hotels and restaurants in Hyderabad, Kolkata, and more cities. And now with nationwide delivery, you can sip on the same luxurious refinement right at your home.

Every time you want to toast a celebration with luxury and taste, without compromising on wellness, Copenhagen’s sparkling tea enters the picture. Varun Sahni, the co-founder of Bebida Hospitality, rightly puts it, “Copenhagen Sparkling Tea isn’t trying to imitate wine or champagne. It holds its own, with layers of flavour, balance, and texture that come from careful blending and a meticulous brewing process.” Nadia Sood adds, “With this launch, we are introducing India to a ritual of refined indulgence—tea but not as you know it!”
