The much-awaited devotional journey of Char Dham Yatra has begun already with the opening of Gangotri Dham and Yamunotri Char Dham on 22 April 2023. The Kedarnath temple opened its doors to the pilgrims on 25 April. And the last and the fourth temple of Char Dham Yatra, Badrinath Dham opened its doors to devotees today morning, 27 April. Thursday morning felt divine and spiritual with the grand opening of the shrine.
Doors To The Badrinath Dham Are Open For Pilgrims Now!
Devotees have started arriving here since early morning today. The doors were opened at around 7:10 am with divine chants playing in the background. This is such a special day for the Badrinath Dham and pilgrims from different corners of India are travelling here to offer prayers at the temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu.
Decked up with tons of vibrant marigold flowers, the temple looks so beautiful. Holy divine chants, Vedic shlokas, and spiritual music were played while opening the doors of Badrinath Dham.

Thousands and lakhs of devotees take part in the Char Dham Yatra every year. Pilgrims from all around India travel to Uttarakhand to experience this devotional journey of a lifetime. Travelling to these 4 divine shrines of the state is on the bucket list of most Hindus. Visiting these places and the entire journey of Char Dham Yatra is surely one of the most memorable experiences of one’s life.
The State Is Taking Several Steps To Provide A Safe Char Dham Yatra For The Pilgrims
Pushkar Singh Dhami, the Uttarakhand Chief Minister talked about how the state is working on several plans and putting many efforts so that everyone can experience a memorable and convenient Char Dham Yatra, according to a report by Hindustan Times. Many social organisations and voluntary establishments are also participating to provide a great experience to pilgrims.

To welcome the devotees on this splendid journey, Pushkar Singh Dhami asked to shower flower petals on the pilgrims arriving at the shrines. He was present at the Kedarnath temple during the opening and worshipped Lord Shiva.
