Here’s What Happened After The Bengaluru-Bound IndiGo Flight Received A Threat Call
It was IndiGo flight 6E6482 and the scheduled plan was to take off from the Kochi Airport at 10:30 am to fly to Bengaluru. The flight had passengers on board already when everyone came to know about the bomb threat. Airport sources shared that each and every passenger on board the flight was offloaded at the International Airport in Kochi immediately, according to a report by News 18.

Right after evacuating all the onboard flyers at the Kochi International Airport, the IndiGo flight was quickly shifted to a secluded area; to an isolation Bay. The reason behind moving the aircraft to an isolated area is to conduct an inspection and investigation and get to know the truth about the bomb threat.

Nedumbassery police have confirmed receiving the call of a bomb threat. To get to know all about this bomb threat received on Monday morning, a team has already been appointed to further inspect and investigate this scary incident with IndiGo flight 6E6482. Right now, there are no further updates about the bomb threat call. We will be able to get more information about it after the appointed team conducts an investigation of the flight kept at an isolation bay.

Recently, the Mumbai police control room also received a call mentioning a bomb threat. On Thursday, someone dialled the emergency number 112 and called the Mumbai police control room and gave them a threat. The caller warned them stating about a bomb inside an aircraft at the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport in Mumbai. Right after receiving the call, proper investigation and inspection took place. Later, they found that a 10-year-old boy called the Mumbai police control room and gave them a hoax bomb threat warning. It was a fake call.
