Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport has just been declared the best Airport by Airport Council International fourth time in a row!

What Is It?

The Airport Service Quality award (ASQ) was bestowed upon Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport (Mumbai’s International Airport) on 6th March’19. The ceremony is to be held later in the year in Bali, Indonesia.

The deserving accolade was given to CSMIA as a recognition for their outstanding work which includes being one of the most efficient airports in the world with respect to managing air traffic. This apart from impeccable work execution in terms of check-in, security and other airport facilities which are the parameters for the ASQ Award.

What’s In It?

The award also stands true to CSMIA’s iconic structure in India and also how it caters to a whopping 40 million passengers annually!

It is also the first airport in the country to release a sustainability award with regard to activities that the airport undertakes in order to make passengers’ flying experience to and from Mumbai as the most desirable.
