Taking to his Instagram handle, Matt Preston shared a reel of himself enjoying a luxurious Maharashtrian breakfast thali at The Taj Mahal Palace in Mumbai. In his caption, the Australian food critic mentions that he has always loved dining at the historic Sea Lounge. So, having breakfast in the hotel was a real treat. What made Matt Preston’s dining experience eventful was having the executive sous chef, Bali Hardik surprise him with different breakfasts every morning during his trip.

From Parsi eggs, akuri to a full Gujarati spread lifted his experience to new heights. But the celebrity’s favourite breakfast was a tray of Maharashtrian delights like vada pav, keema with egg, accompanied by soft toasted buns, his favourite white butter and sweet raw onions. After avoiding vada pav or battered potato sliders in the past due to it being carb-heavy, he finally gave in.
