National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC) released a statement mentioning that Namo Bharat train journeys on the Delhi-Ghaziabad-Meerut RRTS corridor will begin two hours earlier than its official timing on the occasion of Bhai Dooj. Instead of operations kickstarting at 8 AM on Sundays, these trains will start at 6 AM tomorrow. In addition to commencing services ahead of the usual time on a Sunday, the frequency will increase too.
Travellers can make the best use of these journeys till 10 PM tomorrow. The decision has been taken to manage the rise in passenger footfall for Bhai Dooj festivities. Throughout Sunday, Namo Bharat trains will operate with increased frequency. NCRTC finalised 6 AM as the departure time to provide hassle-free and comfortable experiences.
According to the general schedule, Namo Bharat trains on the Delhi-Ghaziabad-Meerut RRTS corridor run from 6 AM six days a week, from Monday to Saturday. For Sunday, the timing starts at 8 AM. However, tomorrow will witness an exclusive change due to the festive season and Bhai Dooj celebrations.

Important Information About These Trains
- Presently, Namo Bharat trains are running on a stretch of 42 km.
- It covers a total of nine stations, starting from Sahibabad to Meerut South.
- It has been about a year since these trains began to provide services on the Delhi-Ghaziabad-Meerut RRTS corridor.
- Once the Sahibabad-New Ashok Nagar section is ready, the stretch will increase to a 54 km corridor.
