Quick commerce platform, known for delivering groceries, packaged food and other home essentials to our doorsteps recently announced its foray into Jammu. Expanding its footsteps in the Himalayan region, Blinkit will make ordering essentials much more easier and convenient for locals and tourists alike. Read on to know the regions it will be delivering its products to.

Blinkit Makes Its Debut In Jammu

Founder and CEO of Blinkit, Albinder Dhinsa, took to LinkedIn and X  to announce Blinkit’s expansion to Jammu. He announced that Blinkit would now be delivering in Jammu. Moreover, he said they were excited to serve customers in the region and stay committed to their endeavour to deliver quick and reliable products to the doorsteps of customers.

Furthermore, he listed down the regions in Jammu where Blinkit would be delivering its products. Three of their stores are already operational and have started delivering to nearby areas. The three Blinkit stores are located in Trikuta Nagar, Roop Nagar and Akhnoor Road. 

The store at Trikuta Nagar serves Railhead Road, Central Lane, Preet Nagar and Trikuta Nagar. The Roop Nagar store delivers to Bhawaninagar, Durga Nagar, Muthi and  Roop Nagar. While the one on Akhnoor Road will serve residents in Lower Shiv Nagar, Rehari Colony and  Shakti Nagar. India’s last-minute app, Blinkit will deliver over 10,000 products within 10 minutes in Jammu.

Netizens Want The Quick Commerce App To Arrive In Their Cities

Netizens took to the comments section of the X post to laud Blinkit’s expansion to Jammu and also ask Albinder Dhinsa to bring the platform’s services to their cities as well. Rajkot, Kashipur, Mangalore, Bhubaneswar, Kullu and Gandhidham were some of the places people wanted Blinkit to make its debut. The Zomato-owned company has announced its latest development after facing tough competition from other players like Swiggy Instamart and Zepto.

As per a report by YourStory, India’s quick commerce market is valued at a whopping $3.34 billion. And it is projected to triple to $9.95 billion by 2029. However, despite its expansion, the sector is only reaching only 7% of its total addressable market. So, the opportunities to expand are plenty.
