IRCTC Offers Air Travellers Travel Insurance Of ₹50 Lakhs
Both domestic and international travellers can book their flight tickets on IRCTC and get travel insurance worth ₹50 lakhs for absolutely free. This travel insurance will protect travellers financially against accidental death and permanent or total disability. It will offer cover for both one-way and round trips. The maximum coverage for this insurance is ₹50,00,000. Moreover, this special travel insurance also offers ₹3000 coverage in case of loss of checked-in baggage on domestic flights.

IRCTC Will Bear Premium For Insurance
For international flights, the insurance amount will go up to $250(₹19,398). IRCTC will itself bear the premium for the travel insurance to secure its passengers against any sort of accident or unforeseen event during the course of the journey. While other travel portals would charge around ₹200-250 for air travel insurance, IRCTC will offer the same for free to make your air travel a hassle-free experience.
