Qatar Airways is known for its spectacular service on international flights. Especially when you are taking long-haul flights to international destinations, besides the Middle East country. And if you are someone who is planning to travel from Goa, you will want to know that the airline will be shifting its operations to the new Manohar International Airport in North Goa from June onwards.

Qatar Airways To Shift Operations To GOX

Qatar Airways, which currently operates from Dabolim Airport, will cease its operations on June 20. Yes, the last departure for this airport will be from Hamad International Airport (DOH) on June 19 while the last departure from Dabolim Airport for Doha will be on June 20. After this, the operations will take place from the new Manohar International Airport, which is located in the North Goa District. It will be serving the same schedule of direct daily flights that are operated on the mixed aircraft of Boeing 787 and Airbus 320.

Not The Only Airline To Shift Operations To Manohar International Airport

In case you’re wondering, Qatar Airways is not the only airline that’s shifting its operations. Strategic airlines, such as Indigo and Oman Air will also be joining the list of airlines shifting their operations to GOX. With the state-of-the-art infrastructure in close proximity to hotels and public transportation. The new airport is certainly going to enhance the passenger experience.

Moreover, it also offers cargo facilities consisting of 25,000 metric tonnes of temperature-controlled handling capacity.
