On the latest episode of In Your Neighbourhood, Curly Tales was invited to Malgudi, the phenomenal new restaurant by ace Indian singer and composer Shankar Mahadevan. Now open in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, the team got to chat with the man himself, wherein he talked about a range of topics. During this conversation, he also mentioned his favourite Lebanese restaurant in Dubai.

Shankar Mahadevan Talks About His Favourite Lebanese Restaurant

On the latest episode of In Your Neighbourhood, Curly Tales dropped by Shankar Mahadevan’s new restaurant, Malgudi in Dubai. Now open in Motor City, this is a new South Indian restaurant that’s co-founded by the legendary singer and composer, Shankar Mahadevan. During the interesting conversation, the ace Indian singer and composer talked about a variety of things.

From things that reminded him of home to why Dubai felt like the perfect place to bring the restaurant to life. During this conversation, he mentioned his favourite Lebanese restaurant in Dubai. He mentioned how Alberto’s Chicken is a recent restaurant that he visited and absolutely loved!

He Talked About A Myriad Of Topics

Not only his favourite restaurant, but Shankar Mahadevan also mentioned how he loves coming to Dubai. He mentioned that, even though this time his schedule had been hectic due to the openings of the new restaurants, he usually keeps his calendar free. And the reason for this is shopping. He mentioned how he likes to stay at a hotel which opens into the mall so that he can indulge in shopping and shopping and shopping.

Not only this, but he talked about a lot of other topics ranging from the menu at the restaurant to how he feels composing music is as difficult as creating a dish. He also talked about a variety of things and gave him a tour of the kitchen at Malgudi. During the tour, he mentioned how there is a 500 KG tawa on which the dosa is made, and this was brought in through a crane.
