Having airports in a city is great, but if there aren’t enough options to travel to and from the airport, it becomes a problem. Recently, fully air-conditioned bus services began from the Raipur airport to Durg. This will significantly improve the travel between the two points. Passengers will finally get to avail a mode of transport that is cheap, quick, and convenient. Here are all the details that you need to know about this newly-commenced bus service.
AC Buses From Raipur Airport To Durg: Fare & Other Details
The Swami Vivekananda Airport in Raipur will not be better connected to areas like Durg. An AC bus service has been started between the Airport and the city of Durg in Chhattisgarh. Since there was a lack of convenient and cheap transportation to and from the airport, officials decided to start this service.
The service began on the 25th of July, Tuesday, after a delay of more than one week. The service was originally supposed to commence on the 17th of July, according to an article recently published by Patrika. However, owing to some reason or the other, the commencement was delayed.
The Patrika article even states that the bus operators were reprimanded for this delay by the collector. The fare for the buses will range from ₹40 to ₹100. From Raipur Airport to Durg City, the ticket costs ₹100. But if you want to travel from the airport to Raipur City, it will only cost you ₹40.

Schedule & Route Of The Buses
As of now, there are only two buses on the route but gradually, they will increase to five or six buses. The bus will travel through Nehru Nagar, Power House, Tatibandh, Bhatagaon, Pachpedi Naka, and Telibandha.
It will depart from the airport at 8:30 AM, 10:15 AM, 2:30 PM, and 6:30 PM. The departure timings for Durg are 7:50 AM, 10:45 AM, 12:50 AM, and 4:45 PM; and its route will go through Telibandha, Tatibandh, Bhilai-3, Power House, and Supela.
On the first day of the bus service, according to the Patrika article, it managed to carry a total of 640 passengers,
