Vande Bharat trains in India are becoming a popular choice for travellers who want faster and premium train travel. Recently, an X user compared the speed, price, and travel time of Vande Bharat trains with a train in China. The comparison has sparked interest online. Vande Bharat Vs China Train: Who Is Better

Taking to her social media handle, an X user, Nalini Unagar (@NalinisKitchen) shared her brother’s experience in both the China train and the Vande Bharat. She mentioned that he travelled at around 300 km/h, paid about ₹1,600 for a 270 km journey, and completed the trip in nearly one hour. 

In comparison, his travel on the Vande Bharat in India was different but still comfortable. The train travelled at around 95 km/h. He paid about ₹1,050 (Tatkal) for a 260 km journey, which took around three hours. The numbers clearly show the difference — China is faster in speed, but Vande Bharat feels more affordable. This is what we feel when comparing both experiences.

One user wrote, “So your brother got only a 1-hour ride in China, even after spending ₹1600, while in India, he got a 3-hour ride after spending only ₹1050. Wow.” This shows how people are surprised by the speed difference but also notice the price gap.

Another user wrote, “They are literally living in 2050.” This reflects how advanced high-speed rail travel in China feels to many users online.

One user commented, “We are a developing country; soon we will reach 300 km/h speed.”
