The Minister for Road Transport & Highways, Nitin Gadkari’s, love for Indian roadways and food is greater than anything else! Kamiya Jani, our Editor-in-Chief, bonded over the passion for food and travel with Nitin on this episode of Sunday Brunch. While chatting, we learned that Chinese cuisine is the best one for him. So much so, that Nitin Gadkari has a dedicated Chinese chef at his Delhi residence! 

Nitin Gadkari Loves Chinese Food

India’s Expressway Man, Nitin, was in conversation with Kamiya when he spoke about his love for Chinese food. He is a hardcore vegetarian who loves to indulge in all kinds of food and has four chefs. They adhere to well-curated menu plans made by Nitin himself.

Nitin Gadkari’s comfort food lies in vegetarian Chinese dishes. With the availability of a Chinese chef at home, he requests them to whip up appetising stir fry, noodles, fried rice and more. Apart from this, our guest also likes to go out to his favourite restaurants to satisfy his food cravings, especially during the nighttime.

Needless to say, his passion for food isn’t a hidden affair anymore!

The Mumbaikar In Him Can’t Let Go Of Vadas!

Continuing on the topic of food, Nitin enlightened us on how he never leaves a chance to relish the iconic street food of Mumbai, even in Delhi! From vada pav to misal pav, and pav bhaji, he devours it all. There is something about the freshly made spiced-up aloo vada, fried to perfection!

In this video, he recalled eating three giant vadas on his last visit to Pune and talked about its easy recipe. Wow, three is quite a number. There is a special place for aloo vada in his heart and he just can’t let go of them. As a true Mumbaikar and a hardcore foodie, Kamiya could relate to this.
