Mandarin Oriental has disclosed its plans to deliver a brand-new hotel and residences on the Athenian coastline. The hotel, Mandarin Oriental, Athens, by the Hong Kong-based company, will be situated on the city’s waterfront. It will be located just 15 minutes away from the heart of the city. The company has collaborated with developers titled BELT Riviera, founded by TEMES and HELLINIKON.

This legendary hotel will be a part of the Ellinikon Project. It is an urban renewal project to welcome guests in 2027 after completing the development of its hotel and residences. In addition to 17 branded residences with waterfront villas and apartment units, the hotel will have 123 guestrooms, suites, and apartments. We might not have a detailed description of this extravagant hotel on Greek lands, but we can be sure of its perfection and delivery of indulgence.

Once it is done and opens its door for you, you will have a variety of dining options to choose from. This hotel offers numerous food and beverage establishments on the premises. There will be wellness therapies and treatments available at the hotel’s Mandarin Oriental Spa. The spa will focus on locally inspired programmes, offering you all that you need for a relaxing holiday.

The Hotel Group Has Expressed Their Excitement About This New Project

TEMES and Lamda Development have reportedly partnered for this project. Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group CEO James Riley has also expressed his excitement about this new establishment in Greece. He shared that with this setting and their renowned service, the Mandarin Oriental, Athens will undoubtedly become the top destination for luxury travel and lodging for both tourists and locals.

The hotel will certainly paint a picture of luxury, along with Aegean Sea views. The CEO also stated his delight in the development of their strategic partnership with Lamda Development.  The chairman of TEMES, Achilles V. Constantakopoulos, also shared that the group is proud to welcome this exceptional brand to the Athenian Riviera together.

The group’s conviction that Greece is a consistently growing high-end travel destination was confirmed by the opening of the first Mandarin Oriental hotel in Greece. This first hotel at Costa Navarino in the Peloponnese was announced earlier this year.
