And now, you can fly from Abu Dhabi directly to Bali, as Etihad Airways has announced its first direct flights to the Indonesian island. Yes, starting from April 2024, the national carrier of the UAE will connect Abu Dhabi to Bali directly.

Come April 2023, and you will be able to fly directly from Abu Dhabi to Bali with Etihad Airways. Yes, it was revealed that the national carrier of the UAE will fly its Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner four times in a week to this beautiful Indonesian island. As such, according to a report by the National News, it was mentioned that EY476, which is the flight number, will be taking off on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays. And it seems that the departure time will be 10:25 PM from the Terminal A of Abu Dhabi. As such, it will be arriving at Bali’s Denpasar International Airport at 11:35 AM.

It should be noted that flight EY477 will be the return flight, and it will be leaving on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, by departing from Bali at 6:45 PM. As it happens, it will be arriving back in Abu Dhabi at 11:45 PM. It’s no secret that Bali draws in a large number of tourists each year for its idyllic beaches and exquisite island experiences. In fact, this development comes at a time when the Indonesian Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy also proposed issuing free entry visas to travellers from 20 countries, with the UAE being one of them.

The 20 countries whose citizens will be allowed free entry visas include –

- South Korea
- The United States
- France
- Germany
- The United Kingdom
- Australia

- Qatar

- Italy
- Australia
- China
It’s worth mentioning that there are two other Middle Eastern countries whose names have not yet been disclosed that will be given this privilege.
