It seems like nightmares are not leaving the injured passengers of the scary Coromandel Express accident. A bus was carrying the injured survivors from Odisha’s Balasore and it faced an accident in the Medinipur district of West Bengal. The tragic bus incident occurred on 3 June when the bus was carrying those passengers that suffered the massive Coromandel Express crash on 2 June. The victims were returning to West Bengal on Saturday.

The bus from Balasore with critical survivors met with a collision with a pick-up van at the national highway in Medinipur. It was a head-on-head crash between the bus and van. The accident led to the van crashing and the bus turning. According to a report by Business Today, most passengers suffered some small injuries while some suffered major injuries. Even both drivers faced injuries. Along with the patients of the Coromandel Express accident, these drivers are also undergoing treatment at the hospital.

Post-accident, people soon gathered at the spot there. Police also reached the place and rescued everyone from the crash spot. According to a report by India Today, the police soon rushed and sent the injured passengers for treatment. The exact reason behind the bus accident with the van is still unknown. The investigation is going on currently.

It was around 7 PM on 2 June when the spine-chilling accident happened between 2 passenger trains; the Kolkata-Chennai Coromandel Express, the SMVT Bengaluru–Howrah SF Express and a goods train. The location of the deadly collision is close to the Bahanaga Baazar station. Over 250 passengers lost their lives and more than 1000 passengers have been injured badly.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived at the accident spot on Saturday. He had a conversation with the disaster relief team, railroad officials, and local government during his visit. Modi Ji went to the place to look after the relief process at the accident spot near the Bahanaga Baazar station.
