With the aim of offering residents and commuters a more convenient transportation option, Khaleej Times recently revealed that the Dubai RTA has expanded the Bus On-demand service. Yes, this has been extended to cover 10 locations, thereby making transportation options more convenient for residents and commuters. Yes, the service has been launched in two new locations, which are Oud Mehta and Barsha Heights. Not to mention, it also helps in alleviating traffic congestion in the high-demand area. In fact, the service is cost-effective as it is priced at just AED5 per person. It’s operational in some areas, and now, it has been extended to include other vital locations as well.

How Can You Book The Service?
Yes, the service, which is available in vital locations like Al Barsha, Dubai Silicon Oasis, and Al Nahda, is now expanded to other areas. Yes, the recent expansion includes Business Bay and Downtown Dubai. Moreover, this service is accessible via the bus on-demand smart application. It’s free to download on the Apple Store and Google Store for smartphones and smart devices. With the service operated via 13 seat buses, these are operated on special designated routes that have been carefully selected after a comprehensive field survey. In fact, drivers can communicate with the passengers through the app in order to reach the nearest pickup point.
So, with the service now available in two new destinations, it’s bound to make life easier for the people there.
