1. UAE Resident Might Soon Get Packages Delivered By Drones

It is believed that drone delivery of packages might become a reality in the UAE. Yes, this development comes after Dronamics and Aramex have announced drone delivery flights. Yes, once introduced it will reduce the parcel delivery time by a lot! Not to mention, these drones are expected to feature exclusive connectivity, navigation systems, and even several safety measures!

2. Elrow Dubai XXL To Come Back To Dubai In 2024

Recently it was revealed on their official Instagram account that Elrow Dubai XXL will be coming back to Dubai in 2024. Although other details about the event have not yet been released, it’s scheduled to happen on April 13, Saturday. Moreover, for 2023, tickets for the day festival cost AED300 but the prices for tickets in 2024 have not yet been revealed.

3. Dubai RTA To Introduce Eco-Friendly Vehicles For Cop28

The Dubai RTA recently announced that it will be introducing eco-friendly modes of transport with the Expo City Dubai. This is a part of its plan for facilitating the movement of delegations and visitors during COP28. As it happens, more than 10,000 hybrid taxis and 1,000 electric luxury vehicles will be serving the visitors at the event.

As it happens the metro operating hours have also been extended! Yes, now it will be servicing from 5 AM to 1 AM throughout the conference days.

4. Dubai Taxi Shares Rates Revealed

Dubai Media Office has announced its Offer Price range and start of the subscription period for the Initial Public Offering. Yes, they are all as follows –

  • Offer Price Range – Between AED1.80 and AED1.85 per share
  • Market Capitalization at Time of Listing – Between AED4.5 billion and AED4.6 billion
  • IPO Subscription Closure – November 28, 2023, for UAE retail investors & November 29, 2023, for qualified investors.
  • Final Offer Price Announcement – November 30, 2023

The Total Shares are 624,750,000, which is equivalent to 24.99% of DTC’s total issued share capital!

5. Hilton Named As No 1 Place To Work

It was recently mentioned that Hilton has been given this prestigious recognition by Fortune magazine and Great Place to Work. This is a big deal as it’s the first time that a hospitality company has achieved this top honour! 6. First Cinema Opens In Madinah

The first ever cinema has opened in Madinah of Saudi Arabia. By the renowned chain of Empire Cinema, it is located at the Al-Rashid Mall. As it happens, the theatre has 10 screens and 764 seats. It’s worth mentioning that the Kingdom lifted its Cinema Ban in 2018 as a part of its reforms.
