1. Hilton Dubai Tower Race Returns This January

For the 9th year, on January 28, will be hosting their annual fundraising challenge, the Hilton Dubai Tower Race. This race challenges contestants to run up 730 steps of Hilton Dubai The Walk, crossing the finish line on the 35th floor. And those who finish the challenge will get to see unparalleled views of the Arabian Gulf. And there will also be a post-event celebration at the hotel’s famous rooftop bar & dining venue, PURE Sky Lounge & Dining.

2. Customer Happiness Rate At 93% In Dubai

Recently, it was revealed that Dubai has recorded a customer happiness rate of 93%. Yes, according to the 2023 Dubai Government customer and employee happiness indices, this was the average recorded customer happiness rate. Announced on January 18, it was also revealed that the entity which topped the rating was the Mohammed bin Rashid Housing Establishment, which logged 97.7%.

3. Saudi Arabia To Host World Economic Forum Meeting

Saudi Arabia will be hosting the World Economic Forum meeting in April. Yes, it will be taking place from April 28 to 29. Additionally, the focus will be on global collaboration, growth, and energy. Not to mention, it will boost the global profile of the kingdom and even its capital, Riyadh.

4. Emirates Brings Its A380 To Tokyo Narita

Recently, Emirates revealed that its latest four-class A380 aircraft has now been introduced on the route to Tokyo Narita. Yes, the premium economy product has been unveiled on its route to Japan after its introduction in December 2023 in Japan. For this, an exclusive tour of the upgraded aircraft was given at the Tokyo Narita International Airport, this week and it included personal experience of the latest product of the airline.

5. Liwa Village Concludes Its Winter Desert Extravaganza

Liwa Village has concluded the Winter Desert Extravaganza with a lively New Year’s Eve celebration. The month-long celebration ended on December 31 with a harmonious blend of culinary delights, retail experiences, extraordinary spectacle, and artistic performances. Moreover, featuring a unique design with seamlessly blends with its authenticity and modernity, it was 20% larger than the previous edition.

6. Second Abu Dhabi Extreme Championship To Happen In January

The second Abu Dhabi Extreme Championship has returned on January 19. It’s happening at the mobile arena and features jujitsu and grappling athletes competing with unique rules. 14 matches will be held across the main event, co-main, and main cards. Not to mention, there are multiple weight divisions as well.

7. Al Fursan Partners With Muse

Saudia has partnered with Muse, which allows travellers to earn reward miles with Al Fursan. So while they exchange their points, shopping at a Muse will grant them points. This means that for every seven points, they earn one mile!

8. Dubai Police Adds Lamborgini To Its Fleet Of Supercars

Dubai Police has now added a Lamborghini to its fleet of supercars. Yes, the Urus Performante has joined its fleet and the SUV will be used for carrying out a range of public duties. Not to mention, it’s also going to help in enhancing the safety and security in the city.

9. Burj2Burj To Happen Over Weekend

Burj2Burj, which is a half marathon, is returning to Dubai. Happening on January 21, Sunday, this event is going to be in collaboration with the Dubai Sports Council. Not to mention, the race will begin from Burj Al Arab and will conclude under the Burj Khalifa! This means a distance of a whopping 21.1 km will be covered during the racing event.

10. FBMA International Show Jumping Cup Underway Till January 21

The 11th edition of FBMA is currently underway in Abu Dhabi. Happening under the patronage of Her Highness Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, and the directives of Fatima bint Hazza bin Zayed, this event is going to conclude on January 21, 2024. It’s currently underway at the Al Ain Equestrian, Shooting, and Golf Club where 97 riders (representing the UAE) and 233 riders from 39 countries are competing for their share of the AED700,000 prize pool.
