UAE is providing some relief to drivers who received fines on that stormy day in order to assist locals in getting back on track without suffering financial hardship. The Commander-in-Chief of the Dubai Police, Lieutenant General Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri, declared that any traffic fines incurred on Tuesday, April 16, during the period of severe weather, that the city saw, will be forgiven. The post further stated that Dubai Police’s choice to overlook the traffic infractions is indicative of their dedication to the community and to guaranteeing members’ safety, particularly in times of extraordinary need.

From May 26 to 30, Dubai will play host to the esteemed IFCC World Lab 2024, an international conference that will unite scientists and laboratory professionals from all over the world. For the first time, the international event will take place outside of Europe and in the Middle East and Africa. The organisers of the conference, which will take place at the Dubai World Trade Centre, revealed the details of the event during a press conference hosted by the Dubai Press Club.
3. UAE Approves AED 2 Billion For Rain Damage

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai, said that the UAE cabinet has approved AED 2 billion to cope with the storm’s aftermath. The UAE experienced its highest rains in 75 years last week, which resulted in severe flooding and the closure of numerous important roadways. The President, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, instructed the authorities to analyse the damage last week, and that assessment is when the funds were allocated.
4. UAE Weather: Chances Of Light Rain And Cloudy Weather
The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) forecasts fair to partly cloudy conditions throughout the UAE for Thursday, April 25. With occasional cloud cover over the country’s northern and eastern regions, there’s also a chance of some light rain. Over parts of the coast and interior, particularly those to the west, it is expected to be humid during the night and Friday morning, with a chance of mist or fog forming.

A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed by the marinas of the Old Doha Port, Banana Island Resort Doha, Aura Group (Beefbar Marina), Resort and Leisure Company (Corinthia Yacht Club, Porto Arabia), and Ronautica Middle East (operator of The Pearl Island marinas).
