From the cobblestone streets of Tallinn’s UNESCO-listed Old Town to the country’s reputation as Europe’s digital pioneer, Kamiya experienced Estonia’s fascinating blend of old and new. She wandered through the fairy-tale-like Alexander Nevsky Cathedral and explored the hip Telliskivi Creative City, where Soviet-era factories have transformed into trendy cafes and art spaces.
2. Finland: Land of Thousand Lakes and Northern Lights
Our founder discovered why Finland consistently ranks as the world’s happiest country. From taking a traditional smoke sauna to diving into the Finnish practice of ‘Everyman’s Rights’ (which allows anyone to forage berries and mushrooms freely), Kamiya embraced the Finnish way of life. Her authentic experience included staying in a glass igloo in Lapland, watching the mesmerising Northern Lights dance across the Arctic sky.

She documented the country’s unique approach to development through its Gross National Happiness index and sampled ema datshi, Bhutan’s fiery national dish of chillies and cheese, much to our amusement.
