Content creator Prerna Tiwari (@prernaspovv) took to social media to share her recent experience in Thailand. In the video, she mentioned that she visited Phi Phi Islands, where she and her partner took a boat ride. However, what she witnessed there left her embarrassed and disappointed. Among the passengers was an Indian family whose behaviour allegedly disturbed many people onboard, including tourists from Sri Lanka, Malaysia, and other countries.
The woman claimed that the family was extremely loud and chaotic throughout the boat ride. She said that even the boat captain told them that such behaviour was not allowed. Their actions reportedly made several other tourists uncomfortable, and many passengers appeared visibly annoyed. Some even started making faces. The situation became more serious when a man allegedly threw a bottle, which accidentally hit a Malaysian girl. The girl became so angry that she threw the bottle back at the Indian man.

Video Triggers Strong Reactions Online
The video, in which an Indian woman spoke about the behaviour of some Indian tourists in Thailand, has gone viral online, sparking strong reactions from netizens.
One user wrote, “I experienced something similar in Germany. We were travelling on a train, and there was a group of Marathi boys and girls. They were shouting and throwing chip packets at each other. It was so embarrassing. People were looking at them.”
Another user added, “This happened to us too in Mauritius. There was a Gujarati family on our cruise who were behaving very strangely. They were shouting loudly and throwing things into the water. People from other countries were criticizing all Indians because of their behaviour. As an Indian, I felt very hurt by this.”
“People need to stop travelling if they don’t know the basic rules and ethics of travelling. Going to a totally different country or destination and creating such a nuisance is really unbearable, and it brings a lot of shame to our country,” one comment read.
One user added, “That’s so sad.”
