Many videos are going viral online, showing a horrifying incident at Maharashtra’s Toranmal hill station. As per the Times Now, the incident took place at Sitakhai Point, where a newly launched zipline passes over a nearly 3,500-foot-deep gorge.
According to reports, a tourist was crossing the valley on the zipline when it suddenly stopped midway. The person was left hanging high above the deep gorge, leaving everyone at the spot shocked and worried. The staff immediately began the rescue operation. With the help of safety equipment, they reached the stranded tourist and brought the person back safely. Thankfully, no one was injured. However, authorities are now expected to find out what caused the technical problem.

Another Horrifying Zipline Incident
Another shocking zipline incident was reported at a resort in Karnataka’s Dandeli. Times Now reported that in this incident, a man fell nearly 40 feet during a zipline ride. It has been reported that the safety lock failed and broke midway, causing him to fall to the ground.
The tourist has been identified as Kuber Surpur from Vijayapura. He suffered serious injuries and was taken to Dandeli Government Hospital. He was later shifted to hospitals in Vijayapura and then Miraj for further treatment.
Before taking a zipline ride, make sure you double-check or even triple-check that the safety locks are secure.
