Dehing Patkai Festival: Assam’s Annual Festival

Dehing Patkai Festival was started in the year 2002, and Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam was the chief guest. The festival is named after the gorgeous Dihing River and the majestic Patkai Range in Assam. The festival is all set to take tourists on a journey through its diverse culture through various activities from January 16 to January 19, 2023.

At this event, a number of native Assamese communities host fairs. These tribal fairs are tremendously entertaining and educational. They help you experience the delicious food and vibrant culture of the state. The festival also organises trips to the famous tea gardens, where you can witness the process of making tea.
