India Saw Bookings In The First Quarter Of 2020
According to the index, 2020 started on a pleasing note in January, and people travelled till March 2020. That was the duration when most travellers visited India. Although many had tickets and hotels pre-booked for the year 2020, April 2020 witnessed most cancellations across the country owing to the lockdown. The survey also showed that December 2020 saw the most demand around the holiday season post lockdown.
International Passengers Booked Hotels For Quarantine
There are other reasons, which contributed to the bookings in India. A lot of repatriated Indians completed their institutional quarantine at hotels and homestays across India.
