A new underpass is soon going to connect the Delhi-Mumbai expressway to Faridabad sector 8. The construction of the new Faridabad underpass has begun by the National Highway Authority of India (NHAI). Currently, the structure of the underpass is being built by the authorities. They will soon be developing the bypass as the link road to the expressway. (Delhi-Mumbai). Keep reading to learn more.
The New Faridabad Underpass
The new Faridabad underpass will soon connect the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway at Chandawali and Sector 8 of Faridabad. The plan of the underpass described earlier did not include Sector 8 and Sector 75 near Chandawali.
This led to many protests by the locals demanding an underpass near Sector 8. Looking at the protests by the locals, the authorities had to give in. They finally agreed to the demands of the locals, and work on the underpass finally got started.
Currently, the work on the structure of this underpass has been completed. They are now working on the second carriageway. This construction of the underpass is surely going to prove to be a boon for the locals, especially the people in Sector 8.

Many People Will Be Benefitted
The construction of the Faridabad underpass will not only benefit the people in Sector 8, but also others. Among the people who will be benefited by this are those from Neemka, Mirzapur, Faridabad Sector 75, and Faridabad Sector 76.
The construction is still underway at the Chandawali expressway. People living in various villages of Ballabgarh will get connected to the Eastern Peripheral Expressway (EPE) or Kundli–Ghaziabad–Palwal Expressway.
It is estimated that the work for this project will be completed in the next three years. After the work is completed, roads will be built over them as per the plan.
