Delhi Zoo Is All Set To Start This New Facility For Foreigners
This is a significant decision to welcome more and more international tourists to the National Zoological Park. The director of the park, Akanksha Mahajan, shared how this will be helpful in seeing a huge number of foreign visitors exploring the zoo. She pointed out a few difficulties often faced by these tourists when they visit without a guide. They experience issues while purchasing tickets and with no solution in hand, they cancel their plans and leave the place.
Akanksha Mahajan further added that most visitors arrive in Delhi in the winter season, according to a report by NewsDrum. They can soon plan a day at the Delhi Zoo and enjoy an amazing time. The officials of the National Zoological Park have connected with the bank officials and worked out a solution where international visitors can purchase tickets using their international Visa or Master cards.
Not just the updated services of using cards to buy tickets for the Delhi Zoo, visitors will also be able to use UPI. The director shared how the process is currently taking place and cashless booking will begin soon as well. There is a demand among visitors to use UPI while making any kind of payment. The zoo officials had a conversation with the bank regarding the digital mode of payment.
Kiosks Are Coming Up At The Gate
The Delhi Zoo is currently undergoing some fascinating changes that are all set to make visitors’ experiences a lot better and enhanced than before. Here’s a list of all the developments that are getting added to the National Zoological Park:
- Two kiosks will come up at the main entrance gate where people can book tickets to enter.
- Also, there will be free WiFi so that visitors can use that to book tickets for the zoo.
- These are important steps that will help in decreasing the rush of people in the ticket counters.
- It is expected that all these new services will be coming into action by Diwali.
