Amrit Udyan At Rashtrapati Bhavan Opens For 2026 Season: Date, Timings, All You Need To Know

Delhi has one of its most beautiful gardens at Rashtrapati Bhavan — Amrit Udyan, earlier known as the Mughal Gardens. The good news is that the garden will soon open to the public, offering a perfect escape to enjoy nature, colourful flowers, and peaceful surroundings amid the pollution. Scroll down to know all the details.

Amrit Udyan To Open For Public

Get ready, Delhiites! Amrit Udyan will open for public visits from February 3 to March 31, 2026. Spread across 15 acres, the garden is known for its well-planned layout and lush greenery. Earlier, it included the East Lawn, Central Lawn, Long Garden, and Circular Garden. Over the years, more sections were added, including the Herbal Garden, Tactile Garden, Bonsai Garden, and Arogya Vanam. These additions were made during the tenure of former Presidents Dr APJ Abdul Kalam and Shri Ram Nath Kovind.

Visitors can explore the garden six days a week, from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm, with the last entry at 5:00 pm. This year, Amrit Udyan promises a special experience. As per the official website, the 2026 edition focuses on detailed landscaping and seasonal flowers. A new attraction called Babbling Brook has also been introduced. It features a flowing water stream with small cascades, sculpted spouts, stepping stones, reflexology paths, and a reflecting pool.
