Indian Railways To Launch New Bhuj-Delhi Train
In a major update, Indian Railways is launching a direct train between Kutch and Delhi. Travellers have been waiting for the Bhuj–Delhi train service for a long time. According to NDTV, Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw will flag off this new train on Friday, May 22, 2026.
This new rail link is also expected to ease crowd pressure on existing trains operating on similar routes. For now, services like the Bhuj–Bareilly Express and Bhuj–Delhi Sarai Rohilla Express carry heavy passenger loads. This heavy load can make journeys uncomfortable.

What’s The Scheduled Time Of This New Train?
The new train will start its journey from Bhuj and will pass through Rajasthan. It will travel via cities like Jalore and Pali before reaching Delhi. NDTV reported that officials have shared that the train will depart from Bhuj at around 11 AM and is expected to reach Delhi the next day at approximately the same time.
This new train will make travel smoother for people who regularly move between Gujarat, Rajasthan, and Delhi for work, education, and other needs. Along with the Bhuj–Delhi train, just a few days before, Indian Railways launched a bi-weekly express train between Bengaluru and Mumbai. The Bengaluru–Mumbai train connects several key regions, including Bengaluru, Hubballi-Dharwad, Belagavi, Pune, and Mumbai. This new train service was flagged off on May 17, 2026.
