The iconic Delhi World Book Fair will celebrate its 31st year in 2023. Starting back in the year 1972, this 9-day-long fair is the second-oldest book fair in the country. It is beginning on 25 February, Saturday and will continue till 5 March 2023 in New Delhi’s Pragati Maidan. Dharmendra Pradhan is India’s Education Minister and he will be present here at 3 pm tomorrow to inaugurate the fair.
India just celebrated 75 years of Independence on 15 August 2022 and the fair will be celebrated by commemorating India’s independence history and journey. The theme of the fair this year is “Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav”. France is going to be the Guest of Honour country this year, as Yuvraj Malik, the Director of the National Book Trust shared. Visitors can explore the fair at any time between 11 AM and 8 PM every day. You can enter the fair only through Gate No. 4 and Gate No. 10.
