Mata Vaishno Devi temple is a famous destination for Hindu devotees. Pilgrims from across the world visit the shrine to receive blessings from the goddess – with unwavering faith. It is believed that none can visit the shrine until the goddess really wants them to. Still, there are millions who visit the Vaishno Devi Temple every year, to receive blessings from the divinity. With an aim to better the stay of pilgrims in Vaishno Devi, the Sarovar group of hotels has introduced The Vaishnodevi Sarovar Portico in Katra. This will allow pilgrims to opt for a comfortable stay and will not only be accessible to the temple but to other tourist places too.

On the occasion of the inauguration, the hotel authorities expressed that the opening of their hotel in Vaishno Devi will only increase their scope of growth and provide them with opportunities to grow in the Jammu and Kashmir hospitality market.

Attractions Within The Vaishnodevi Sarovar Portico Hotel

Pilgrims who decide to reside in this hotel will be able to see the Vaishno Devi Hills from the hotel premises. It is 1.5 acres of property, at the entrance of Katra, adjoining Vaishno Devi Shrine Board Central office, 500 meters before Katra Bus Stand and 550 meters from the newly made Railway Station. Apart from its great location, the hotel will provide 100% vegetarian cuisine to its visitors.

The types of cuisine will not only be restricted to North Indian and South Indian but will also have Chinese and continental cuisine in its menu offerings.
