DIFC Gate Reveals 50 M Artwork Of Founding Fathers For ZayedAndRashid Campaign

To commemorate the UAE Flag Day and the UAE National Day, a month-long calendar of events is planned for Dubai under the ZayedAndRashid Campaign. The Brand Dubai, which is the creative arm of the Government of Dubai Media Office, has revealed an awe-inspiring artwork at the DIFC Gate. Honouring the legacy of the UAE’s Founding Fathers, Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan and Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed Al Maktoum, here is all you need to know about this.

Honouring the legacy of the UAE founding fathers, Brand Dubai has unveiled a massive artwork at the DIFC Gate. Yes, a 50 m portrait of the two leaders depicts them against the backdrop of the modern UAE, which is a tribute that’s going to leave you astounded. These are images that were originally captured by Photographer Ramesh Shukla, who was deeply inspired by the two leaders and their vision for the nation. It was the warmth of the two leaders welcoming him into the country that left him with a lasting impression.

As it happens, the backdrop for this artwork has been designed by Emirati artist Maitha Demithan who also specialises in novel techniques. Yes, blending the key aspects of art and photography for rendering striking 3-D images, the artist has previously exhibited her work not just in Dubai but even in Korea, London, and Palace.

For those who aren’t aware, ZayedAndRashid Campaign is a month-long calendar of events that includes everything from shows to hotspots that are worth checking out. Celebrating national pride and important days in the history of UAE, it was also during this campaign that the Flag Garden also opened its doors on Dubai Beach.
