According to an article recently published by Moneycontrol, Canada will soon allow workers with foreign employers to stay in and work from Canada for as long as six months. The article also said that if they find an employer while they’re still in the country, then they may stay even longer.

Not many other details about the visa policy are known as of now. It is not known yet who will qualify for this visa and how many people will qualify for it. The article mentions that the government will create what is called “innovation streams.”

As part of its international mobility program, this particular stream will attract skilled workers who work in professions that are “in demand.” This may also include workers who are employed by companies that are viewed as contributing to the country’s innovation goals by the government.
