Now, once again, the chef has shared a video where he explained why we often crave chaat and what the science behind it is. It’s more than just a food craving!
Ranveer Brar explained that chaat helps keep our gut healthy. How? He added that our stomach has trillions of bacteria, and they are not new but very old. We have heard of history that is lakhs of years old, but these bacteria are even older. From time to time, these bacteria need to re-adjust. When that time comes, they give us a signal, and that’s when we start craving chaat.

How Does Chaat Grow Bacteria?
Ranveer Brar further added that these bacteria in our body need clean water, spices, and ghee. All these elements are included in chaat. With chaat, you’re actually helping keep these bacteria alive and making sure that good bacteria continue to support your body. The chef captioned the video with, “Aap bacteria ki चिंता na kare…Chaat ussi मज़े se khaiye!”
