And its official! American electronic DJ Marshmello and singer-songwriter Lana Del Rey will perform at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix after race concerts. Marshmello will open the Yasalam After Race Concerts at du Arena on Thursday November 28. The Abu Dhabi Grand Prix is happening at the Yas Marina circuit from 28 November to 2 December. And the special thing about this year’s event is that it has been extended by a day, overlapping with the UAE National Day.

The Abu Dhabi Grand Prix is all set to flag off next month and racer, you’ve got to book your tickets right away! The grand event will kick off on 28 November with an electrifying performance by the ‘Stars’ singer Marshmello. Also popular by the name Christopher Comstock, Marshmello shot to fame with songs like Silence, Wolves, Friends, and Happier, which appeared in the Top 30 of the Billboard Hot 100.
This is not the first time the American DJ will take centre stage in Dubai. Previously, Marshmello was in the country for the Red Fest in February 2018.
And the musical fun does not end there! Following Marshmello, Lana Del Rey, also known by the name Elizabeth Woolridge Grant will take stage on 30 November. In case you didn’t know, Lana gained prominence with her debut single- Video Games in 2011. Her music draws inspiration from themes like tragedy, romance, glamour and melancholia and has also been criticized several times for the same.
At Lana’s performance on 30 November, fans can expect hits from the past and present including: Young and Beautiful, Love, Born to Die, Blue Jeans, Lust for Life and more.
What Else?
In case you missed it, popular hip hop star Travis Scott will also be in the capital on 29 November. From his most-loved album ‘Astroworld‘ to hit numbers like Sicko Mode’, ‘Antidote’ and ‘Yosemite’, Scott fans are in for a treat!
And to call it a day, the Killers will bring down the curtains on 1 December. So that’s going to be quite a musical Grand Prix this year. Make a note of the singers and block your dates right away!
