The list has been released by Skytrax, which is a UK-based airline and airport review and ranking site. This is brilliant as the Airport was previously ranked at the fourth position. The top spot in 2022 was held by the Istanbul Airport which has moved to the second spot now! Not to mention, Doha’s Hamad International Airport has been given several other recognitions. These honours include Best Airport in the Middle East and Cleanest Airport in the Middle East.
What About The Position Of The World’s Best Airport?
After losing its spot to Hamad International Airport and Haneda Airport in 2021 and 2022, respectively, Singapore’s Changi Airport regained its position this year. Doha’s Hamad International Airport moved to the second spot, while Tokyo’s Haneda Airport is now in the third spot. Talking about the best airports in the Middle East, this is the list for 2023:
