Yes, with this, you can leave your car at the airport for an extended period while travelling out of the country. Here’s all you need to know about the fee for long-term parking at airports.

Parking at the airport is certainly a convenient option for those who want to drive themselves to the airport. It’s especially perfect for people who don’t mind shelling out a little extra, as they can drive themselves back home after they return from a vacation. If this idea appeals to you, then here’s a glimpse of the parking fares given by Gulf News, at airports across the UAE.

A Look At The Parking Fee In The UAE

Dubai International Airport

  • Dubai International Airport Terminal 1 – You can choose to park your car in the premium area, for AED125 on day 1 and a charge of AED100 every additional day. You can also park your car in the Economy area, with AED85 on day 1 and a charge of AED75 every additional day.
  • Dubai, International Airport Terminal 2 – For premium parking, the charge is Premium the charge is AED125 on day 1 and for each additional day, this will be AED100. While for the Economy area, for day 1 it is AED70 and for every additional day, it is AED50.
  • Dubai, International Airport Terminal 3 – You can park your car for AED125 on day 1 and a charge of AED100 every additional day.

People can currently make use of the free parking at DWC according to the official website of Dubai Airport. For this, however, you will have to book a slot in advance on the website. Thereafter, you will have to provide the terminal you will be travelling from and enter the date and time of your parking duration. Once you click on ‘get a quote,’ you will know the cost of parking in two different types of car parks for the given duration.

Abu Dhabi International Airport
  • Terminal 1 & Terminal 3 – For 24 hours, the fee is AED240.
  • Terminal 2 & Garden Parking – For 24 hours, the charge is AED120

However, don’t forget to add a 5 per cent value-added tax according to the website.

Sharjah Airport

At Sharjah Airport for more than four hours, but up to 24 hours, the charge is AED95. From day 2 onwards, this fee is AED95 per day. Here you can use a long-term parking period for a maximum period of up to 30 days. And if you exceed this period, the penalty will be AED2,000 and the parking fees, according to the website. Not to mention, you can book a slot in advance by visiting their website.
