What Is It?
Dubai is known in breaking world records, with the tallest building to the biggest frame to the largest flower garden and the list just goes on and on. With so much that the city has to offer there are thousands of people who flock in and out of the city on a daily basis. Similarly, with Dubai being a hotspot tourist destination all around the year the Dubai International Airport has been awarded the world’s busiest airport for the fifth time in a row. The busiest tag came as the airport witnessed 89 million passengers that used the airport last year. It took over London Heathrow in 2014 and since then it has been the busiest airport in the world.
What Else?
Dubai airport is geographically located really well as two-thirds of the world population can reach Dubai within 7 hours which also makes it more accessible. The airport is also home to Emirates which is one of the worlds best airline that operates to 150 destinations in 80 countries across six continents from Dubai. Apart from all this, Dubai welcomed one billion passengers in its 58th year in 2018. On the world’s busiest airport list Saudi Arabia was the second with 6,471,142, followed by the UK with 6,284,771 customers.
