A trip to Dubai is incomplete without ticking off the fountain show. While the one in Dubai Mall is the oldest and an all-time favourite, the recent one launched at The Pointe on the Palm Jumeirah was also a massive hit. And now, you can get up-close and personal with this stunning fountain show, thanks to a new floating platform has been erected in the water surrounding The Pointe.

The Water Platform Is Open Until 8 June From 6 pm – 12 am
Adidas has erected a new floating platform in the water surrounding The Pointe. The initiative is a part of adidas’ x Parley ‘Run for the Oceans campaign’. The floating platform spans 250km across the water and is absolutely free for all. The new bridge is open to the public every day from 6pm to 12am until June 8. So, make sure you get here in time for the Palm Fountain show which happens every half hour from 7pm right up until 1am, each day.
Adidas’ Run For The Oceans is a virtual challenge where participants can run, walk, or wheelchair to help support Parley’s Global Cleanup Network. Parley’s Global Cleanup Operations works to help end marine plastic pollution by intercepting debris from beaches and islands.
The new water platform can be accessed from the eastern side of The Pointe, in front of LadBurger. Touch points are placed all over the area in order to educate visitors about the importance of coming together to end the plastic pollution.

The Palm fountain in Dubai was launched on October 22 and is the largest in the world. It has smashed the world record measuring at a whopping 7,327 square meters that span across the avenue of The Pointe at Palm Jumeirah. In terms of the record, Dubai Mall fountain now holds the second place for the title. With shows happening for 3-minutes, you can witness this marvel every day from 7 PM to midnight at The Pointe on Palm Jumeirah. There will be five performances a night, and 20 different shows will be performed. Sounds, exciting right? So, don’t forget to head there and spam your gram!
