When one takes a flight to their intended destination, chances are that we all offer a small prayer asking for an uneventful flight and a safe journey. However, little turbulences are enough to make some people nervous. And, emergency landings are probably the most unnerving experiences for passengers. And something similar happened to the people on board a US-Bangla Airlines flight that was flying from Chittagong to Dubai. The flight made an emergency landing at Nagpur International Airport after an engine problem was reported.
Dubai-Bound US-Bangla Airlines Flight Makes Emergency Landing
Recently, a Dubai-bound US-Bangla Airlines flight with 175 passengers had to make an emergency landing in Nagpur. Due to an engine problem, the flight made the emergency landing on Thursday, June 20. It is worth mentioning that this flight was hailing from Chittagong City, Bangladesh. But after the plane experienced engine problems, it made the emergency landing at Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar International Airport at 10:30 AM. According to a report by PTI, it was mentioned that passengers were later accommodated in another aircraft, which left for its destination at 7:45 PM. As a result, due to a stay of more than seven hours, passengers had to remain in the transit area as they waited to be moved to another aircraft.

Not The First Time An Airline Has Made Emergency Landing
This is, however, not the first time that an aircraft has had to make an emergency landing. In a report by Khaleej Times of India, Biman Bangladesh had also made an emergency landing at Nagpur when the pilot suffered a heart attack, in mid-air. Later, a plane bound for Melbourne had also faced an engine fire mid-flight but had landed safely at Invercargill, Similarly, a Malaysian Airlines flight MH199 also experienced a malfunction, which caused the plane to make an emergency landing in Hyderabad.
A scary experience, it must have truly been a tiring and unnerving experience for the passengers aboard this aircraft.
