Foodies, here’s your chance to drown in food! The sixth edition of the Dubai Food Festival will happen from 21 February to 2 March and there’s A LOT for everyone.

What’s It?

Dubai’s culinary scene has always been fancy and adding more glamour to this, is the Dubai Food Festival! The sixth edition of the DFF will feature 17 days of signature events, starting from February 21 to March 2.  From the restaurant week to pop up stalls on the beach, celebrity chefs and other lip smacking delicacies there’s going to be a lot of food drama happening.

Here are the highlights!

Restaurant Week

This one’s the best brownie point during the DFF. During the restaurant week, you can binge on a sumptuous three course meal from top notch restaurants for just AED 199. Restaurants participating this year include Scape, the Burj Al Arab’s oceanfront restaurant, Gaucho (Argentinian), Morimoto (Japanese), Bleu Blanc Dubai (French), Basta! by David Myers (Italian), Al Nafoorah (Lebanese) and Hotel Cartagena (Latin American) among others. Swyp Beach Canteen

Fancy grabbing a bite along the sea shore? This year’s food fest has that too. Visitors can enjoy the markets, pop up stalls, live music and family-friendly activities at the Sunset beach. Plus, you can also savor signature dishes and gourmet delicacies by top notch chefs, attend live cooking workshops or sign up for free yoga classes by the beach. Oh and there’s a play area for kids too. So you don’t have to worry about keeping them occupied while you treat your tastebuds.

Hidden gems

While Dubai’s biggies in the culinary field never go unnoticed, the hidden gems in the city’s nooks and corners tend to be forgotten. The DFF provides these master chefs a platform, bringing them to the forefront. 40 restaurants compete during the DFF and offer special menus for up to AED35. Foodie Experiences

A newbie in the DFF, foodie experience gives you an insight into the city’s food gastronomy. And if this list doesn’t sound exciting enough, the city is also hosting a Cheese Fest for cheese lovers. The mega fest is coming to town this February, to satiate your cheese-y craving. Presented by SOPEXA Middle East, the event will be held at the Westin Mina Seyahi. The Cheese Fest 2019 will let you savor cheeses from across the globe. Not just that, you can also shop for  exclusive cheeses, meat, attend work shops and also win exciting prizes.
